Paradoxes!

Merry Christmas!  It's heartsstarssmiles, one of Santa's taller elves!  Here's a present for y'all!

I don't know why, but a month ago (I think), I developed a love for paradoxes, when I discovered one.  So, I decided to make a small list of them for you! You're welcome!  (For more, click here.)

  • It's opposite day!  But if you say it's opposite day on opposite day, is it really opposite day?
  • This statement is a lie.
  • Is the answer to this question "no"?
  • Plato, guarding a bridge, says to Socrates, "If your next statement is true, you may cross.  However, if your next statement is false, I will throw you into the water."  Socrates says, "You will throw me into the water."
  • There is an exception to every rule, including the rule of exception, for which the exception is that there is no exception.
  • You need moderation in all things.  Does this include moderation?
  • A male barber shaves only all the men who don't shave themselves.  Does he shave himself?
  • Don't listen to me.
  • Your mission is to not accept this mission.  Do you accept? (Source: My Babysitter's a Vampire)

Yeah, paradoxes are so much fun!  So, I wish you a Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year!  Oops, I got it mixed up!  Oh, well, it's the same thing! Okay, okay, I'll fix it!  I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  There! =D

Happy Holidays,
heartsstarssmiles
