Happy Earth Day! I know it's kinda early, Earth Day being April 22 and all, but every day is Earth Day!
I do make an effort to go green. It's very important, but not many realize it. Many think that littering a little bit won't affect anyone, but when people all around the world think that, that trash that's two square centimeters small isn't so small anymore.
Over the summer, I wrote a few poems about it, like this one:

Over the summer, I wrote a few poems about it, like this one:
Mother Earth, Gaia, Bhoomi
Devi
Whatever you call her,
She is our planet,
Our home
Our only home
She is not a trash can
We have two options:
1. Go green,
Refuse, Reduce, Reuse,
And Recycle,
Which will yield
A great and happy future,
One less worry,
A healthy planet
2. Treat our wonderful home
As a trash can,
Add to global warming,
Swim in trash,
Add to our problems
You may think that
Littering a little bit
Doesn't make a difference
Well, it adds up
Don't underestimate
The strength of numbers
Mother Earth has voluntarily
Taken us under her wing
We must thank her
We must change our ways
For the better
My sisters, my brothers,
Our mother needs us
Lend a hand and
Make a difference
Remember,
Earth Day
is every day

Of course, when you go green, don't go hunter green. Be reasonable. "Too much of a good thing is good for nothing." Wise words spoken by my mom. See ya!
Oh, and chain reactions count! If a small butterfly flaps her wings, some molecules will be moved, which will move more molecules, which will move more molecules, and so on. This could be capable of creating a hurricane on the other side of the world! =D
